About the Artist
Born in Tipperary, Ireland, Jane’s love of fashion, art and illustration was apparent from an early age. Her work is inspired from her extensive travels and her passion for all things creative. Trained as a fashion designer and art teacher she has worked as a knitwear designer for Collette Dinnigan in Sydney and freelance in London as a textile designer for Matthew Williamson.
Jane’s fashion illustrations have been published in Vogue Australia, Image and Tatler Magazine. She was invited to lead a fashion illustration workshop at the Chester Beatty Library in conjunction with their Costumes Parisiens exhibition of fashion plates 1912-1914 and has illustrated fabric print for exclusive lingerie label Fraulein Annie. Her work has been exhibited at Habitat, Felicities Creative Agency London, Art Ireland, Project 51, Art Source, Dublin Horse Show, National Craft & Design Fair, Ballymaloe/City Hall/Glucksman Craft & Design Show, Bloom, Showcase and the House, Interior Show. She is currently represented by the Duke Street Gallery in Dublin.
Jane has also worked as a creative director for Wtv, project managing the production of short film for the corporate and educational sector.
She has styled photographic shoots for photographer Paul Gaster and has assisted London fashion stylist Savannah Barthorpe. She is available for individual commissions, design consultancy and live event fashion drawing.
